Overall ambient is exactly the same. The decor is simple and elegant. Got complimentary room upgrade to a deluxe room which is, in many other hotels, a junior suite. Check in and out were efficient. Staffs were extremely helpful and friendly. Visited Straitskitchen again which I always visit every time I come back to Singapore. Food and service were consistently good. So impressed by the consistent level of high quality service and standard in this hotel. Will definitely come back again

The staff was very accommodating, especially the staff in the executive lounge who ensured everyone was well taken care of. The location for shopping is very convenient at the corner of Scott and Orchard. The room was very large and well appointed and comfortable for both work and an area to relax. Warm staff, friendly service, spot on advice and directions, assisted me with every request and consistently exceeded my expectations. These people know how to make traveling painless and a step closer to home. The location was superb and everything was within walking distance or a short MRT ride away. I will defiantly return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore.

Stayed in the tower at the back, not sure whether those are newer or the front tower is newer. Room is very spacious, with large work desk. Swimming pool is inviting, the gym is fantastic and particularly loving the sauna facilities. Breakfast is fabulously amazing with lots of choice. One thing that was surprising, more like a shock, was the coffee in the room. Nescafe freeze dried instant coffee. Really unexpected. Had to literally go out of the hotel just for my caffeine fix. But overall, fantastic stay and highly recommended.

What a fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect as the shops and transport are just outside. The hotel is amazing - the staff is friendly but professional. The Cub Rooms are worth every cent. I’m a GF traveler and the staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had and the Martini Bar was fabulous. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. It was a great stay at Grand Hyatt Hotel during my visit there. The hotel staff was very efficient in attending to the request and needs I have made during my short stay there. Worth to give Grand Hyatt a try.

The location was convenient and in-house staff were great and welcoming especially during check in and check out. The have nice selection of food. The room was clean and spacious. They also give you a ceramic kettle in your room to help you prepare real green tea and drink it the actual way. The swimming pool was also fantastic as there were plenty of spaces to sit and relax. We had an awesome and relaxing stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Check-in was smooth and front desk gave us a room at 12, way earlier than the official time. Room was old but well maintained. It had all the basic amenities one would expect of a 5-star hotel. I would have given this hotel the 'excellent' rating just based on the check-in process and the room. Every day the hotel corridor smelt of stale food. The room service trays with leftovers were not collected. At least 3, every day. I noticed a tray was not collected for over 24 hours. While the smell got worse and worse. I simply couldn't stand it anymore. I called and made sure they removed the trays. It's a hassle getting a taxi in front of the hotel. The queue has been usually long. We stick to the area or walked to the subway. We waited over 20 minutes for a taxi to the airport.

I came to Singapore on business, and stayed 6 nights added a night to catch some sights before leaving as this was my first time here. I always have a great stay at Hyatt, and this was no different. One thing about Hyatt, including this one, is they are very nice luxury hotels yet understated compared to some of the massive convention center hotels or the very posh hotels where you feel like you have to be fancy all the time. Just a comfortable hotel. No one bothers you. Rooms were comfortable, good size and clean. Only downside was no down pillows and the pillows were a bit too firm for my liking. The breakfast buffet, while pricey, was outstanding. It was more like a brunch. Wide range of foods from typical American and English breakfast to Chinese and Indian food stations with typical fare. All very good. Gym was good size with good equipment and typically not very crowded. Pool area, and surrounds, very nicely landscaped to feel like you are in the jungle vs center of a huge city. As I was traveling alone, I was able to sit at the pool restaurant/bar area on several occasions, have a nice glass of wine and food, and feel very comfortable. They have a place 10 Scotts where they serve a beautiful high tea service. I didn't have it, but saw the space and read the great reviews on it. Next time. The location is in the main shopping district, and generally well located except it is a bit away from the main downtown and Marina Bay area. Quick cab ride though, and close access to the hop on hop off and all sorts of public transportation.

The Grand Hyatt Singapore was a wonderful hotel to stay at. It was located in the main hub of the city with lots of shopping centers and restaurants around it. It also had a very good night club. It was close to China Town, Little India, Bugis Market and not too far from the Gardens by the Bay. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The King Suite that I had was very comfortable and has all the amenities you could ask for. The Club located on the 21st floor was also large and well stocked. The tea was fantastic.
